UMDJ 2009 SXSW

Our UMDJ ride for SXSW09 started amazing with a great party over a new (back then) bike shop called:

Fast Folks, my home girl Natalie G. She is crazy fun, say hi to her.

When it came time for the UMDJ ride, our battery was Dying on us. We jamed for a few minutes here and there but the juice was not coming, no matter if I was plugged directly to the grid (emergency extesion cord + try to plug anyware). There was a few moments when the party was wating for the music to blast them. But the UMDJ was out of juice. My battery died that day , is okay i am over her. I got a better one this year and Is CHARGED! Hope to see you in 2010! Here is a little footage!

Claude 9 and Dj Manny Created a Music Project called Los Bandidos 4 years ago. Last year we sold out in a few months their our remix vinyl EP called “Viva La Remix Vol.1″. This year we have Vol.2 on the oven, be ready by SXSW 2010. With 12 songs of original music, 10 remixes we are taking the show on the road.

First week of November we head out to California. let your crew know, Los Bandidos are coming!

Wanted to give you updates on our moove. DJ Dojo has partenerd up with a new Local Non-Profit organizm called A.A.M.P, This will house Austin’s First Urban Creative Center. This creative hub is located at a 411 Warehouse on South 1st.

We will host workshops catered to the urban community like Djing, B-Boying, Graphic Designs, Music Production. Other powerfull workshops like photography, Multimedia to bike weldding will be hosted at the now called “411 Warehouse” is a 7000 sq. ft. complex located on 411 monroe st. 78704.

A.A.M.P. is an artist collective that protects and nurtures the creative process by bringing the creative community together in partnership to heal, work, and thrive. Other collective members he warehouse include Adbondo, Austin Bike Zoo, Subliminal Phoenix, and Bike Notes. Click here to become a Member of the “500 friends club.”
